The Rite of Sacrifice is to be offered by devotees on the Full Moon of the month, and can be preceded by the Full Moon Purification Ceremony. Additionally, one may choose to offer the Rite at any time you feel moved to, but especially on Foradi, Sunnadi, or Lunadi each week in honor of the Great Mother, the Celestial Mother, and the Holy Daughter respectively.

The Day of Artemis is a sanctified day from our foremothers, the Madrians, and always falls on the fifth day after the New Moon. On this night, we can see the holy crescent crown of The Daughter in Her station as Queen of Earth, and may offer the Rite of Sacrifice in honor of Her as The Holy Huntress. This is a sacred opportunity to give thanks for the lives that sustain us, both flora and fauna, and to acknowledge that each of them is given to us by Her in Her infinity mercy for our hunger and strength. We pray that our wërde may be uplifted and purified on this day, knowing the necessity of consuming lives to continue our own.

The Dark Moon is a Dea-blessed time to perform the Dark Moon Releasing Ceremony, for any negativity, pain, or heavy energy that you have been harmed by during the month prior. Be assured that She will carry all of it safely away from you, to be purified and renewed into Light by Her blessed hands.

The Feast of Terram is a new, community-formed feast day in celebration of Fall’s Sacred Mystery, Terram- The mystery of the Great Mother as the Ground of All Being. This is one of five modern seasonal feast days, and is a day of celebration with one’s family and friends. Travel out into the world, partake of the bounties of the blessed Earth as befits the season, and know that for each step you take, the Great Mother lies solid and still beneath all the illusion of movement.

More on Terram coming soon!
