Prayer is the good soil in which our faith can grow. Prayer is the voice of our soul and spirit, calling out to our Mother. Prayer is a way to purify our soul. Nothing brings our Mother God, Dea, more joy than to hear our prayers- after all, does not a Mother rejoice in the words of Her children?
Organized here are fifty-five years of prayers dedicated to the glory of our Mother. Prayers to praise Her name, Her works, and Her miraculous love for ALL Her creation. As more historic and modern prayers from our faith and our older sister faiths are discovered or created by priestesses and worshippers, they will be recorded here! So consider this page a permanent ‘work in progress’!
If the originating branch of Deanism is known for a specific prayer, we will notate it. It’s important to have that living path to our ancestresses, and know that we pray with the same words that they did and do.
